Cervical Cancer Screening
Prevention & Early Treatment
Cervical cancer screening is essential, even as cases significantly increase among women in their 20s and 30s.
If you are a woman aged 20 or older eligible for the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) health checkup, you should receive a cervical cancer screening once every two years. Since 2016, the eligibility age has been lowered from 30 to 20 to ensure early protection for younger women.
Cervical Cytology Test
After inserting a speculum, a small cotton swab or brush is used to collect cells from the cervix. These cells are then observed under a microscope to detect any abnormalities or precancerous changes.
Morphological Examination
Key Features of our Screening
Tele-cervicography alone has an accuracy of 94%, and when performed simultaneously with a Pap smear, the accuracy increases to 98%, compensating for the limitations of individual tests.
The procedure is virtually painless, and the screening time has been reduced from over a week to within 24 hours, ensuring a fast and efficient process.
By recording lesions as high-resolution images, we can quantitatively track the process of cervical cells changing over time.
Equipped with high-performance imaging devices, even minute or subtle lesions can be accurately identified and interpreted.
